Before you BOok: Is a perm right for you?

• Arrive with Clean Hair: Our Stylists will wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo before your perm, but avoid heavy conditioners or styling oils on the day of.
• Clear Your Schedule: Expect to be in the chair for 2 to 3 hours.
• The 48-Hour Rule: You cannot get your hair wet (no shampoo, sweating, or swimming) for 48 hours after your service. Please plan your gym sessions and events accordingly.

The "Don'ts" (Crucial for the first 48 hours)

• Don't wash your hair: Wait at least 48 hours before shampooing.
• Don't use fine-tooth combs: Brushing will pull the curl out and cause frizz.
• Don't tie it back: Avoid hats, headbands, or tight elastics for the first two days to prevent permanent "dents."
• Don't sweat: Avoid excessive exposure to sun and excessive sweating. 

The "Do's" (For long lasting curls after 48 hours)

• Do use a wide-tooth comb: Only detangle when hair is wet and saturated with conditioner.
• Do "scrunch" to dry: Use a microfiber towel to gently squeeze water out rather than rubbing.
• Do use a Diffuser: Use the diffuser attachment on a low-heat setting to maintain the curl shape.
• Do use Color Safe Shampoo: You should use chemical safe (color safe) shampoos after getting your service done to maintain the curls. 
• Do use a Hair Masque or Deep Conditioner: The curls must be hydrated. We offer a deep conditioning treatment at our salon that can help maintain your curls.

For Maximum Definition & Frizz Control: If you want that classic, clean curl look

• The Go-To: Aluram Curl Cream or Statement Curl Cream. These provide a soft hold while locking in moisture.
• The Lightweight Choice: Moroccanoil Curl Control Mousse is perfect for a bouncy, touchable finish without any "crunch."

For a Messy, Matte "Surfer" Look: If you want a textured, lived-in style

• The Foundation: Reuzel Surf Tonic adds grit and volume—perfect for that beachy feel.
• The Finish: Aluram Dry Texture Spray or Statement Definition Spray will give your curls a matte, effortless look.

For Shine & Control: To keep your curls looking polished and healthy

• The Serum: A few drops of Aluram Shine Serum will eliminate flyaways and add a high-gloss finish.
• The Pliable Hold: Reuzel Fiber Cream or Moroccanoil Molding Cream offers a medium hold that allows you to reshape your hair throughout the day.
